Morgane Tuberosa :
“Currently studying a Master’s degree in Political Science at the University of Lausanne, I wanted to become involved in a student association in order to take full advantage of university life and to meet other students who share my values. Being passionate about international issues and politics, the SDSA appeared to me as an obvious choice, fully corresponding to my interests. The possibility of acquiring skills and developing new know-how through conferences, workshops or cultural activities attracted me, as the SDSA stands out for its professional dimension. I was immediately attracted by the association’s purpose, and today I am very interested in the development of the Lausanne branch and wish to contribute fully to the construction of this flourishing project.”

Roman Tissières – Secretary General
“Alongside my Bachelor’s degree in political science, I felt the need to add a more concrete dimension to my studies by involving myself in an association. The SDSA seemed to me to be a perfect way to develop my skills in event organisation or project management while touching upon a theme that particularly interests me, diplomacy. Now in my Master’s degree in public management, I realise a bit more every day how professional experiences and associative commitment are precious assets for my future. As Secretary General, I ensure good cooperation and coordination within the team while having a wide range of rewarding responsibilities.”

The Human Resources Department of the SDSA allows me to use my knowledge while being a part, during my university career, of a group of motivated and professional students. The SDSA allows me to prepare my future and to enlarge my network while deepening my knowledge on the international challenges that punctuate our daily life.”
Audrey Adehossi – Head of the Community Manager Department
“As a Masters of Political Science Student with a Globalisation major, and having grown up in a multicultural and cosmopolitan environment, being surrounded by different cultures has always been a part of my daily life. Being particularly interested in questions of globalisation and inter-state relations, and wanting to work in a humanitarian NGO in the future, joining the SDSA, an organisation promoting multiculturalism, diplomacy and respect seemed in accordance with my values and my professional future. I joined the SDSA as Community Manager in the spring semester of 2022, and helping the Lausanne branch of the association to grow and become better known by introducing diplomacy to as many people as possible is a perfect mix of everything I like to do!”
Camilla Tartaglia – Co-Head of the Conferences Department
“My name is Camilla Tartaglia, I am 22 years old and I am currently doing my Master’s degree in Politics and Public Management at the IDHEAP at the University of Lausanne. My Bachelor’s degree in International Relations allowed me to familiarize myself with foreign policy issues, Swiss and international, as well as the importance of maintaining good diplomatic relations. Therefore, it seemed natural to me to join the Swiss Diplomacy Student Association from the very beginning of my Master’s courses. I was immediately attracted to the Conference Department, which allowed me to acquire a first experience in the field of events.”

This element, combined with the will to put my knowledge into practice within a student association, pushed me to join the SDSA within the Lausanne committee.”
Florian Hofstetter – Head of the Culture and Institutions Department
“My name is Florian Hofstetter, I am 21 years old and I am currently in my 3rd year of a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Within the association, I am head of the Culture and Institutions department. Geopolitics has always fascinated me and even more since the beginning of my studies. I joined the SDSA to meet other students who share a common interest in the issues and understanding of the international world. I also wanted to acquire new skills through an associative experience. I am looking forward to contributing to the development of the association.”

“As a third year student of a Bachelor’s degree in political science, I wanted to join an association in order to enrich my academic career and meet new people. The SDSA, which aims to popularize various diplomatic issues, immediately attracted me. I am very interested in current affairs in its various forms and the association allows me to discover it through the prism of diplomacy, which is often misunderstood. Thanks to my experience as an editorial assistant, I enthusiastically turned to the Journalism Department in order to produce a written record of the upcoming events.”
Lisa Dubath – Head of the Workshops Department
“I have been interested in politics for a long time, both at national and international levels. Diplomacy and international law intrigued me during my university studies, first in social sciences, then in law. In order to better understand how they work, I started the SDSA, which deals with these themes.”
